At the invitation of Pope John Paul II, the religious leaders of the world assembled for the first time in history to pray for peace on earth. The Sacred Office of Peace is comprised of the Prayers handed down on the Day of Prayer for World Peace in Assisi, Italy on October 27, United Nations International Year of Peace, 1986.

We propose that you plan for Peace Meditations/Prayers according to your belief and religion.

The enclosed Prayers can be used if you are confortable with it. It is vital that you are conducting your own ceremony during the first week hour of peace.
